The pickguard is slightly discolored with age. There are two filled holes around the bass side upper horn; one on the inner edge of the neck heel, and one on the inner edge of the upper horn. The finish has been worn around the bass side lower bout. There are footprints on the back of the headstock from where previous tuners were installed. Modifications/Repairs: There are two filled holes around the bass side upper horn where strap buttons were previously installed. At some point, different tuners were installed. The original tuners have been reinstalled without the need to re-drill the holes. The holes for the tuner shafts have not been enlarged. There are no extra holes in the back of the headstock. Serial Number: 150370 Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide with moderate play wear. The serial number dates to 1963.
